Serah Park, PT
BScPT, FCAMPT, CGIMS, Cert. Med. Ac.
Serah has been a practicing orthopedic physiotherapist for over 22 years and 9 years ago, enhanced her practice adding pelvic floor physiotherapy. She has found adding pelvic floor physiotherapy has improved and provided variety in her orthopedic practice, and her previous orthopedic training has been a tremendous asset in her pelvic health skills.
Serah has been an invited speaker for North York General Hospital’s physiotherapy week “The Role of Physiotherapy in Pelvic Health” and to Peri-natal Quality and Safety Rounds speaking to a case study involving pelvic girdle pain (symphysis pubis dysfunction). With her pelvic health and advanced orthopedic training, she is committed to treating individuals suffering from pelvic pain, urogenital dysfunction, ano-rectal dysfunction, as well as pregnancy and post-partum issues.
Serah has a particular interest in ‘non-bacterial chronic prostatitis’ in men’s pelvic health which is often very responsive to pelvic floor physiotherapy but difficult for men to have had direction in treating. She is committed to life-long learning and providing evidence-based practice for patient-centered care. Serah is currently co-owner and Clinic Director at Striowski & Associates Physiotherapy which just celebrated 30 years serving the North York community.
