Peter graduated from Queen’s University with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Psychology and Physiology from the University of Toronto and is fluent in Cantonese.
Peter is passionate towards life long learning and has drawn upon work experiences with other health disciplines as a source of inspiration for advancing his own post graduate training. He has taken courses in Mulligan Concept, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization according to Kolar and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture at McMaster University. Peter is a certified Gokavi Transverse Technique (GTT) provider, a technique used for the treatment of neuropathic pain.
Peter has also successfully completed his Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, an accreditation of the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Peter is a registered instructor with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is involved in the teaching of post graduate courses in Advanced Orthopaedics to physiotherapists. Combined with being an avid canoeist, beach volleyball player and former U23 Canadian National Dragonboat Team member (with his share of injuries) Peter successfully treats individuals with slip and fall injuries, repetitive strains and chronic pain.
